About

Rotary is a world-wide organization of business and professional people united in the following goals:

  • Providing humanitarian service
  • Encouraging high ethical standards
  • Building goodwill and peace

In 1985, Rotary launched its Polio Plus program, the first global initiative to tackle polio through the mass vaccination of children. Rotary has contributed more than $1.5 billion and countless volunteer hours to immunize more than 2.5 billion children in 122 countries. Wild polio virus is now down 99% and appears in only two countries.

Rotary Club of Boise was founded in 1917 and recently celebrated our centennial! Firkin Frolic festival proceeds will help fund a wide range of local and international projects. Please visit http://boiserotary.org  to learn more about how we serve our community and the world. Members are encouraged to become active in club projects, resulting in an engaged group of business leaders. We have a great combination of social activities, public service projects, and conversation. Our speakers are excellent and keep you inspired.
